The goji berry is considered to be one of the most nutritious foods in the world. It is greatly respected by Tibetans and they bear witness to its health benefits. It is most widely known for is its high antioxidant content. Antioxidants help cleanse the body from toxins which cause stress and other ailments. Goji berries are rich in vitamins and minerals, namely Vitamin B1,B2, B6, C and E; and minerals like potassium, calcium and zinc. The berries have even been discovered to contain essential fatty acids that are vital in producing new hormones. These hormones are needed to improve body and brain functions.
